The contract comprised conversion, extension and modernization of an old military laundry into a modern office building, fit for the IT branch, of 1,600m2 floor area and a cubage of 7,771 m3. The historic exterior made from clinker brick was modernized and the interior was fitted with a new structural ceiling fixed to the roof with tension members, a so-called floating ceiling. A new, glassed-in stairwell connecting the existing building with the extended building was also built. In addition, the existing boiler room was extended and adapted into a canteen building. One additional fact is of note: during construction work, fragments of 17th century brick wall of the Prusy Fort (Fort Prusy) were discovered and became part of the rest- and- -recreation building. The contract was realized under the supervision of Contract Engineer.
